thanks for the information everyone - think i will go with the non-run flat tires and either a spare kit or one of the repair kits.
I'm leaning towards repair kit just because it will take up less trunk space. I found a BMW OEM option (

Any one have experience with this and found it worth the extra XX vs one I can get on Amazon?
