Look at the performance parts from AC Schnitzer for the M3...not so subtle are they? Look at the aeros on the E92 M3 GTS and the F82 M4 GTS.
These days the M performance aero parts are more functional than ever so function over form for greater performance. In the E92 days or prior, M didn't have any real functional aero parts for the general public except for special edition cars with the GTS nomenclature

I can assure you that these new M performance parts have absolutely ZERO function. They don't produce downforce. You will not see this mentioned anywhere in the official literature.
As evidenced by the fact that the upcoming CSL will have a different front spoiler, and a ducktail at the rear instead of this wing.
But you can believe anything you want of course, and by all means vote with your wallet. |
Agreed. Also evidenced by the F82 M4 DTM Championship Edition, which has the M Performance "flow through" rear wing and front M Performance lip. If it did make downforce or do anything, BMW would let us know in the press release…
