Speak for yourself lol. Joking aside, real wages aren't :that: far behind, only a couple percent slower than inflation. If you haven't secured a new job with a healthy raise in the past couple of years with the great resignation and the tight labor market then you kind of shot yourself in the foot (or are in an unusually low demand field). |

I'll rephrase: my salary didn't get inflated at the same rate. Maybe it's time to change my field of work but I love what I do.
