I’m not sure (although I have my suspicions) why everybody is so defensive of the M2, I don’t want an M2, I have no use for it, I have never driven one of my own cars on a track, or got close to the cornering capabilities of any car on a road.
I want an “M lite” that can give me great performance on public roads in a country where roads are wet for a good proportion of the year. The fact the the M240i can out drag an M2 from a standing and rolling start is an added bonus though.
