You obviously didn't read my post completely - especially the part about the oil temperature being the same before and after the protector. If you do a little internet searching, you will find that anything below 230 degrees is ideal for oil temperature.
I say again, the oil temperature was not affected one iota by the addition of the protector. You can spout all kinds of opinions but the proof is in the numbers.
