There is going to be significantly more/better things in the G87 vs 2016 F87. In that case, $62K would be a bargain. However, that's still $62K starting price for a M2, which is a big chunk of change. Factor in some options and this is easily a $70,000. Again, that's not insignificant. And yes, we get that the M2 is the new M3 and the M3 is the new M5. Still, this is a large departure from the norm.
I guess what I'm saying is that I predict the car will start at $64,250.
I'd still probably be interested in the car at your predicted price but anything above $65k starting price and I'll prob look at getting something else. Barring I'm not completely blown away by the looks when it's released.

But with the way the economy may be heading in the near future, we may hopefully see vehicle prices return back down to earth by the end of '22 which would give me even more options for something sub $75k
