Huh. Really not that much, plus that's the delta between a sunroof and the standard CF roof on the M3.
The delta between a sunroof and a steel roof would be smaller, probably more like 35-40 lbs.
Does the G-gen 2-series have noticeably less headroom than the F-gen? Even with a sunroof there's a TON of headroom. Granted i'm pretty short, but i think for all but the tallest drivers, fitting with a helmet and a sunroof wouldn't be that big of a problem. Again though, that's assuming the new car has similar head room to the old car.
