That M Carbon Package is a total ripoff.The other item that is over charged is the M Carbon Fibre Trim.In comparison it’s available as option on the M340i in Canada for $600.It will be interesting to see what the demand for these is going to be,with the price being significantly higher than when the original M2 was released.

the M carbon package is actually not as much as a ripoff as I thought originally:
2350 - upgrade from vernasca to merino (taken from 3 series configurator)
5500 - carbon bucket seats (taken from m3 configurator)
1000 - carbon fibre trim
1900 - M carbon roof
2450 - M driver's package
