Acetone did the trick on the trim, sprayed plenty of water immediately after using it, no damage. I’ve one other issue, super glue on a plastic window deflector already fitted to the car. I put some super glue on an old deflector I had, then used acetone to try and remove it, it ended up cracking the deflector, even though it removed the glue. Tried all the old Wives tales, white vinegar, surgical spirit, soapy water etc but it won’t budge.Any products to recommend? For the UK? I don’t want to risk scratching it or dulling the tint. I’ll try nail polish remover without acetone next, but don’t want to waste money on various products that don’t work. The 3m spray as in the previous post is unavailable here, Any ideas?
