Having owned all sorts of colors, and currently on my 3rd BSM BMW, it's not the black attracting the dings and scratches. However, I will state that the moment I consciously decided to stop caring about driving a car with "perfect paint", was the moment I started enjoying my ownership experience. I'll admit, some people can't shake the black paint OCD, but ultimately they're in charge of their own path, which leaves little sympathy when it comes to their color choice and maintenance schedule.

Agreed. This was my initial reasoning behind ordering BSM. However, after careful examination of the newest photos and videos, that's still my reasoning.
Slightly less maybe, but still a safe choice IMHO.
