MyBMW app stopped updating

Anyone else have their MyBMW app stop updating? Mine has not sync’d with either car since 9/20.

Same for me, last update 4 days ago (9/24) and I couldn't figure out why the car stopped updating location -- double checked iDrive settings, rebooted iDrive, phone, app, etc.

It is funny that they started experiencing the effects of the hurricane a couple days before it reached the US...

My car has been offline since Thursday. No traffic info and no trip data in the app.

apparently BMW is self-hosting all of the connected drive functionality at their Spartanburg location, and have zero redundancy, DR , or multisite failover capability in place.

same here... I was kind of amused that remote engine start could not work when the BMW app was down. It also has been saying all of my windows are down.(still down as of 1AM EST) Although the car is locked with all windows closed.

Also says my most recent trip was 11:02AM on Thursday. (unless I was dreaming about going to Costco, Best Buy and the Apple Store yesterday afternoon?)

ok, so it's now 6:00AM on Friday. Somehow BMW still has not fixed the issue.

do they not have tech support guys who deal with this kind of issue 24/7? Yes, I get that there was a hurricane, but how can a giant car manufacturer like BMW not have back-up servers and a team of people who deal with this?
