Here's the old girl - our mobile 'sitting room'. Might not be the most inspiring drive on twisty roads, but for regular 300+ mile trips between the north and south, there's no beating it. Got it new and in 14 years, never once let us down and completely relaxing to travel in, and the fact that after all this time it doesn't rattle or squeak, helps my OCD no end

I honestly don't know what's happened to BMW. They seemed to care about their image and heritage a lot more in those days and made some truly amazing cars. They were so far ahead of the competition in terms of quality and driver appeal. Oh well, long live the old school bimmers If I had a workshop, I would totally be doing an E30 resto mod with a modern engine and chassis Quote:
I loved the old 850s! My Granddad had a T5R and that thing flew! Yep Lapiz blue is the MK5 R32 colour Extremely charismatic cars. That howling engine with DSG is sublime. Blackberry Corrados look amazing. VW did some great paint in those days. Well, they were hand made by Karmann coach works, which is why they didn't rust half as much as the factory made Golfs of the time Mine was Ice Grey Violet. A really curious paint that flip flopped from moody grey purple to bluish silver in the sun, with a hint of pink. I loved it |

Fully road legal with all OEM cooling system bar a thicker rad and a cooler stat; a nigh on standard exhaust that wasn't loud at all... Looked and sounded stunning But took his video's down as of course, some shysters decided that they'd try and steal it etc It was a gorgeous car; in BMW red with genuine 17" BBS Style 5s etc
