328i E90 to 328Xi E90

I'm pretty new to the beamer world, and I live in a snow state. I bought my bmw in the early summer not thinking about the winter time and my subi is going out of commission. I'm wondering if I can buy a 3 series Xi transmission and driveshaft and put them in my 328i?

If you're at all a competent driver, just put good winter tires on and send it

First off, welcome to the forum and BMW ownership.

Secondly, turn off your caps lock when posting here, no need to yell.

Third, you're not going to get any help posting your issues in someone else's thread. Find the General forum (General E90 Sedan / E91 Wagon / E92 Coupe / E93 Cabrio) and click the 'New Topic' button in the upper left - title your thread appropriately so people will click on it (Don't title it 'Help' or '2010 328i'), and hopefully someone familiar with your issue will reply. If they don't, find a local independent BMW shop to help you sort this out.

And next time you opt to buy a 14 year old BMW with no previous BMW ownership experience, get a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) to save yourself from this sort of mess.
