B58 Coils on N54 - MHD...runs really rough

MHD with B58 coils which are a mix of Eldor and OEM. Updated MHD with the B58 setting although it had Nexsys or something as part of the description. It starts off running smoothly but then starts missing pretty badly.

Used a kit specific to the N54/B58 but didn't pull apart to see if there is a resistor in the boot. Is a resistor needed?

Are there custom settings that need to be also applied to MHD besides just updating the tune with B58 selected?

Thanks for the help, appreciated.

Also, plugs gapped at .26 because I've heard that this set up can handle it and a larger gap can be beneficial for a better burn. But, will regap them tomorrow at .22....although I really don't think this is the issue. Any ideas out there?

When I spoke to ken (wedge) few weeks ago he said to me to use OEM bosh sparks instead of my ngk one gaped at 0.22....

Then I put back my OEM sparks on my n54 and everything run fine.

Just an information but I have no precise idea for you.

Not sure what you are saying here? You have a a mix B58, eldor, and OEM coils? Or just eldor and OEM? If the latter you don't need to check and boxes.

And i hope the gaps not .26 should be .022
