Who's replaced it?
I think mine is leaking: View post on imgur.com I'm mostly worried because it seems my crankcase is pressurizing at least a bit. My oil breather cap is spitting out enough oil to make my engine cover wet. Little surprised this is happening. Flapper is new, valve cover is less than 2 years old with no signs of leaks or cracks, and low side is an OCC (i'd imagine shouldn't matter under WOT though so).

It's the seal on the front of the motor behind the belts and pulleys. If i'm correct the tool locks into where two of the pulleys go in order to push the seal in flush.
I have a low side catch can, I still have my old PCV valve but I don't think that's the issue considering it's not pressurizing at idle (confirmed by removing cap at idle).

No worries. I've since learned how to do the install. Unfortunately need to locate the tool though. Not too keen on spending $170-300 for a tool i'll realistically use once.

I opted not to purchase the special tool and make do with what I had. Surprisingly getting to and removing the seal was quite easy. I drilled a screw into it and just popped it right out. I've attached a photo of the seal out. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo once the new one was in.
As for install, things got a little tricky. I decided to use a 2x4 cut to be slightly larger than the seal, and whack it with a dead-blow. This worked well enough but somehow managed to push the top of the seal in a little further than the bottom. I then used a smaller piece of wood to push the bottom portion in a little further. Just drove it for about 30min and so far, no leaks

I think i have the same problem but even worse, I am gonna give it a try just like you without using the tool. When putting the new one in its not needed to use any sealent right? Just some oil on the surface i think
