Price: £6,500.00

For sale is my manual 2011 BMW E92 335i, which I have owned since June 2022. I am the third owner. It is a high specification car that I have upgraded during my ownership. I am selling due to needing a five-door hatch for lifestyle and practicality.

The car is approaching 126,000 miles, which will increase slowly because it is still in use.

I bought the car on account of its history, specification and condition, and have been active in making improvements to it. The highlights below are detailed in the sections that follow:

Comprehensive suspension upgrade based around a ST Suspensions Sport Kit and M3 arms front and rear
Comprehensive brake upgrade based around the BMW F3x Brembo calipers
Stainless steel exhaust
Interior contact points

Equipment

I was keen to source a high specification LCI car; the car has the following specification and options of note:

Vermilion Red metallic paint
19” 313M wheels
Xenon headlights with LED angel eyes
Heated electric seats with driver side memory function
Cruise control
CIC sat nav
Front and rear parking sensors
Rear sun protection glass
Dual zone climate control
Auto headlights / wipers
Auto dimming rear view mirror
Dipping near sider mirror when reverse is selected

The full specification can be viewed in the following VIN decoder link:

Suspension

In February 2023 I undertook a comprehensive upgrade of the suspension that comprised installation of:

ST Suspensions Sport Kit springs and dampers
E92 M3 arms front and rear
Whiteline rear subframe inserts and Powerflex camber arm bushes
Front tie rods
Rear track control arms
Front camber plates
Front top mounts
Upper and lower rear mounts
Front and rear drop links
Front and rear gaskets and spring pads

The suspension refresh is a significant improvement in comfort and control compared to the stock M Sport suspension and has been aligned to give -2 degrees of camber at the front, which improves turn in and evens wear across the width of the front tyres.

Brakes

Brakes were upgraded at the same time as the suspension work using Brembo calipers from the F3x generation 3 series front and rear. Alongside these the car runs 340mm and 345mm Textar two-piece discs with EBC Redstuff pads and braided hoses. The handbrake has also been renewed around Mintex parts.

12mm spacers were fitted alongside a stud and nut conversion to clear the much larger calipers compared to the stock brakes.

Braking is smooth, powerful and feelsome.

Engine, Transmission and Exhaust

The car has the N55 engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The clutch delay valve (CDV) has been removed, and gearbox and diff fluids have been changed in my ownership.

To improve the car’s sound I fitted a stainless-steel exhaust. The car sounds great, especially when driving hard, but is quiet around town and at motorway speeds. However, it does drone around 60mph in sixth gear.

The car benefits from a MHD Super Licence and the adapter and licence are transferrable with the car. Currently the car is running a stage 1 v2.0 map and performs strongly.

Exterior

The Vermillion Red paint is a rare and interesting colour that changes significantly between light conditions. I have tried to keep it in good condition and it comes up very well.

The car is missing a headlight washer cover. I have a quote from Cotswold BMW to supply this.

Wheels and Tyres

The BMW 313M wheels are in fair condition for the car’s age. I replaced the standard runflat tyres with Maxxis VS5 tyres in 235/35 front and 255/35 rear profiles.

Interior

The interior presents really well for the age of the car and I have lifted this by replacing the main contact points. I have fitted an M Sport steering wheel trimmed by Royal Steering Wheels and a BMW clubsport/ZHP gearknob.

Service History and Maintenance

The car has a well-documented service history which is a mixture of BMW main dealers and independent BMW specialists there on. Prior to my ownership the car has the following service history:

23/05/2011 – Pre-delivery check
21/02/2012 – Stratstone BMW Service Authorised Workshop
20/02/2014 – JCT600 BMW Service Authorised Workshop
16/09/2015 – Sytner Sunningdale BMW Service Authorised Workshop
09/11/2016 – Sytner Sunningdale BMW Service Authorised Workshop
27/04/2018 – Sytner Sunningdale BMW Service Authorised Workshop
18/05/2020 – Barons of Farnborough BMW Service Authorised Workshop
31/05/2022 – 101,006 miles, Bromspec Motor Works BMW and Mini Specialists

In my ownership:

01/02/2023 – 110,855 miles, KWR Services BMW Specialist (including brake and suspension upgrades)
08/07/2023 – 115,811 miles CHM Autos (including walnut blasting and spark plugs)
13/06/2024 – 121,624 miles KWR Services BMW Specialist

Conclusion

I have both keys for the car, plus the service book and manual. Also present is the tool kit and medical kit.

There is no outstanding finance on the car and it is not categorised. Before purchasing it I obtained a V Check which I will happily share (this is dated April 2022).

The car has an MOT until 30 May 2025.

The V5 is in my name at my home address. I am located just outside of Salisbury and am happy to collect from the station. There are a good range of roads nearby for test drives. I am happy to drive the car for you and for you to drive it subject to comprehensive insurance.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Price: £6,500.00
