Im hoping you can offer some assistance
Im currently trying to update the software for the EGS (transmission module) on a cousin's 2011 f10 528i via ISTA+. Prerequisite updates include the headunit which leads me to needing an enabling code (FSC).

VIN : WBAFR1C55BC739506

Thx in advance for your help, or, if not, a suggestion on how to proceed

Car is in the US if thats of any importance.

Flashing CHAMP2 Head Unit does not require FSC Codes, unless it is Retofitted.

It wont even let me proceed with any update without updating the headunit for which it keeps asking for an FSC.
Yet you say I shouldnt need an FSC based on the info you got from the VIN. What factors in the car could cause this scenario? ... as I dont believe this would be a problem within ISTA itself.
