N53 randomly shuts down while idling
Hi,
I'm trying to catch a random bug with the 3.0 N53 engine (e93). Car just shuts down randomly while idling (even in the parking gear). It shuts down instantly without any rough idle... No error codes, ground wires are checked, all wires from DME to all the sensors checked under load. *When I'm detaching MAF or top lambda sensors the car works in emergency mode and is not shutting down... *Bought new MAF and lambda (bosh) and no changes at all... *Fuel pressure 200000hpa, low pressure 5000hpa Any ideas what could cause this issue or how to debug it? Thanks in advance. |

Not sure which diag software you're using, but my advice would be to find a reliable indy who has the genuine BMW diagnostic package which includes the ability to run checks while the engine is working.
