Well, it stalled the second day after I flashed that option. But the last 2 days it (cold) started fine, so it might also be better on my car. That would be great, because the cold start (even on a stock echaust) is pretty loud when you park just next to someone's bedroom and you leave early in the morning.

Another question about datalogging:

Previously I was able to log timing corrections in the N55e app. But now I used the F+G app to flash v2.00 (Stage 2). In F+G there are only timing values available. Why is that?

So, for datalogging is it necessary to still use the N55e app?

Hmm. Also a E9x N55, right? Mine is 2012.
Well, then I just use the N55e app for logging.

Yeah, also an E9X N55, from 2011 mine. Are you sure in the settings that you have selected the timing corrections?

They were not available in the F+G app. Only normal timing.

MHD+ is out for N55E!!! Today I flashed it from the new E+F+G MHD app.
I also noticed that the missing timing correction parameters was fixed in the latest version

How does MHD alone protect from overboost? I removed my JB4, considering flash only

There are several ways MHD does this: set boost targets, failsafe mode (cutting fuel, reducing boost..), boost by gear, finetuning the wastegate actuator,..
I'm not sure why you still would want to use JB4...

Check my logs out:
2.0 map: https://datazap.me/u/bmw335in55/log-...=0&data=3-4-14
1.84 map: https://datazap.me/u/bmw335in55/csf-...=0&data=3-4-15
You had thought I had a boost leak lol. P.S. My car loves over-boosting. I would love to know why.

I like that there isn't a huge chasm between boost and load targets and actuals. How does 2.0 feel vs the old one?

Hard to tell but, from the logs, I do seem to be pushing more boost or at least meeting target. The one issue I have had that may not be related to the new map even though it did only happen after I installed it is during a few of my cold starts, I have had the RPMs flucture severely and then return to normal. This has only happened twice. Never had it fluctuate this bad until after the map flash.

I installed the new maps today. I was using the MHD N55-E Flashing app. That app is discontinued. You have to use the MHD Flasher App now for the N55 e series.
I also ordered the newest MHD Universal WiFi adapter and received it in three days even with Christmas being one of the three days.
I am very pleased. The adapter was $79 from ECU Tuning.
I can now connect with my iPhone. I now have map switching on my steering wheel. The version 2.0 maps seem to be great. Hopefully I will be able to utilize them when I fix my mechanical issue.
There is an antilag feature and BRAP among other new features.
Burbles sound quieter and I have read that they are. I think I read that MHD turned them down to protect the car.

The only mods on my car relevant to the engine are an uprated charge pipe and cat back stainless-steel exhaust.
Hey man! Saw your post about this! How does the 2.0 stage 1 map feel in comparison to the 1.60 stage 1+? Is there a significant horsepower / torque difference and which do you personally prefer?

Bubba Chocolate,

I have been running the 1.6 stage 1 93 map for about a year. The 2.0 seems much stronger.

It is a lot of fun!
