Carplay OPTION 330i 2018
Hey, so I've seen a few posts regarding Apple Carplay wifi antenna installations on the NBT evo head units... however, my car doesn't show any indication of apple carplay, is this due to not having software/ coding or does the antenna need to be installed for it to show up? I have the 609 package which is supposed to ensure carplay is compatible. Thanks for any help

Go to the connected drive store on a computer (not the head unit) and see if carplay is available to purchase. It's 300 bux and will get activated over the air and start working within a day or so.

You’ll probably just need a WiFi antenna ($15 and probably 10 minutes to install) and some easy remote coding.
I used bimmer-remote. I had an older version software on my NBT EVO so I opted to have them update it and code full screen CarPlay. It cost a little more than just the CarPlay though. https://bimmer-remote.com/products/b...een-activation |
