Looking to upgrade the door speakers and underseat subs in my 2008 328i wagon with Hi-Fi (S676) but unfortunately it seems like most of the links in the audio sticky are dead. I already have a JL XD600/6 with a TechnicPnP harness and some Bimmertech Alpha One tweeters I pulled from my previous E90 so I would only need the door speakers and underseat woofers. I'm not opposed to running a Bimmertech setup again but if I can get something better I would like to go that route. It looks like Morel may have some offerings but I am not sure which one I would need. Really only interested in switching if it's plug and play.

I would call Unexpected Creations in New Jersey .
He stocks the better stuff and could give you comparison info.

I put morel dotechs in the doors and Jehnert xe 200's in the floors that
was about 10 years ago at least . Both are great. Also powered with and xd 600/6 as that was the standard for the Hi Fi upgrade years ago here.

Appreciate the response. According to Don at Unexpected Creations, Jenhert no longer makes the XE200, and they don’t typically use Morel speakers anymore.

Unfortunately they stopped the sales of just the underseat woofers alone some time ago.
We also have not done much with Morel for quite a while now. We have found many other
options, especially for BMWs to be more preferred with out clients.

I’ll have to ask him to clarify what other options.

We actually use a good bit of Helix and Match as well as GroundZero and even Bimmertech or a combination of them.
The 600/6 wouldn't change anything but the lack of bandpass capabilities especially on the woofer channels is a downfall,
unless something has changed with them recently.

Looks like I’ve got some more research to do.

That's why the new DSP's that have decent to great output power are appealing.
