Can the subs under the seat be used with a 2ohm amp?

You need to study some basic electronics.

That amp will deliver 75 at into 2 ohms load or less into 4 ohm load .
You will usually see both a 4 and 2 ohm rating in the amp manual .

Terms to know RMS power
peak power
distortion number at power .

look for articles on matching speakers to amps like this

Hey Ctuna: If I chose to keep the Logic 7 amp and used one of those cheap fiber optic decoder boxes, is it possible to connect a DSP ?

Example: helix mini DSP has optical/digital + RCA inputs and it also has RCA output.

The decoder box typically plugs into the Joying FR and FL out.

Is it possible to go this route:

Joying HU digital or RCA out> Helix mini DSP input (RCA/DIGITAL)> plug decoder box RCAs to Helix RCA OUT> Decoder box connects to logic 7 with most connection on side of box.

Would that work?

Don't know nobody here has done that my initial feelings would be negative.
I don't think you are going to be able to time delays to separate channels because
those converters only give two channels in . control over separate channels would be the
issue and that is what DSP is for . (Delay and EQ)
I don't know if the converter would translate the DSP analog signal in an effective way.
A stand alone DSP is more like pre amp that means before the amp .

Gotcha. Makes sense. I just didn't know if maybe it would help with the added sub in the trunk and EQ , even if only for the left and right sides.

I looked into “2.1” stereo systems. From my understanding that is left+right+sub. So I looked deeper into whether not there are any good DSPs for 2.1 stereo systems in automobiles.

Then I came across the minidsp website. They sell what’s called the minidsp CDSP 8x12 v2.0

This DSP has optical input/rca input and rca output.

They have a webpage that goes over how to tune a 2.1 system with their software:

https://www.minidsp.com/applications/subwoofer-tuning/sub-integration-rew

This includes time delay, EQ, and crossover.

Then if I wanted to shell out more money I could but the minidsp with Dirac Live installed to give me autotune as well:

https://www.minidsp.com/applications/subwoofer-tuning/sub-integration-dirac?srsltid=AfmBOoqZeFrWQjP87FzQBQ_KulBLzYvkxqM8 mDN93hBRf8xq6YtqylOi

I know this doesn’t allow for me to tweak every speaker with the DSP- but I’m thinking it might achieve better sound quality than without.

You are talking to yourself at this point I can't go into the minutia of every piece of equipment in existence .
I tried to make you aware of the major pitfalls .

minidsp CDSP 8x12 v2.0 That only has signal processing capabilities so you need to look into a amplifiers also. (Logic7 likely won't work due to BMW specific optical protocol used).

I'd suggest get 8 or more channel DSP/AMP combo depending on your budget.
Something like HELIX V EIGHT DSP MK2

Your Android aftermarket unit output -> HELIX V EIGHT DSP MK2 -> into speakers around the car.
That's it, no need for the weird conversions that degrade signal.

It makes lots of sense to go fully active since you now have DSP. Get rid of crossovers in front door for full control.

Personally i got Alpine 802dsp (8 channel DSP/AMP combo) and the software is rather easy once you get familiar with couple youtube guides trying to explain the goals.

You can buy UMIK-1 calibrated microphone for the live tuning (with ROOM EQ software) it's cheaper + can later use it with PC when doing gaming/calls. It won't be "wasted" money that buys an equipment for one specific purpose.

Thanks Captain, what’s your opinion of the Audison C8.14 DSP/Amp combo as a replacement of the logic 7 amplifier? I will be using the factory speakers.
