For those regular readers, you will recall that there was a warm crank problem that was proving difficult to solve

Turns out it was not a flex fuel sensor problem or a problem with the settings in the MHD tuning options
The long warm crank problem was caused after MHD updated their app
The update didn't play nice with my custom tune
Tim modified the tune and sent me an updated version
Flashed it using the MHD app and boom ..... problem fixed !!!!
Sorry I didn't get the technical details, all I know is its starting up fine now

Boot Trim

Regular readers will know that I have been working on the car audio upgrade over the past couple of years, most of that time spent driving around with a boot full or wiring

Enter Jay Standerwick from Wicks Wires (one of the best fabricators and audio turners I know)

Jay has generously been helping with the fabrication and install of the boot trim panels. Now when I say help, I mean doing 99% of the work while I watch and get in the way

Project is into day 4 and most of the design and panel work is done.... but still have more fabricating, trimming and lighting to so I'm guessing there is still a few more days to go

Big call out to Jay who is just a master at this stuff.

Boot Trim Continued

Fabrication and test fitting of the trim panels is now complete, so time to move onto trimming and installing the LED lighting.

Has been super hot in Melbourne lately so we have only been dedicating one day a week to this build

Jay is heading off interstate for a few weeks, so will be a while before we can get back to it. But making good progress and getting closer to completion.....
