Question Someone help what do i do???

I recently picked up a pristine, one-owner 2007 335i coupe with only 45k miles for $11.5k. It’s in mint condition inside and out.

My original plan was to buy the car, resell it, and build up some capital to upgrade to something newer. But now, I’ve fallen in love with the 335i, and I'm at a crossroads.

Here’s the dilemma: Should I sell it for around a $2k profit and move on to a newer car (60k-85k miles), such as a B8.5, B58, VQHR, or an AE888, and just go the DP + tune only? Or do I keep the 335i, use the money I’d spend on a new car to upgrade the twins, fuel pumps, etc, and do a full maintenance overhaul?

When I bought the 335i it came with the following as well so upgrading it won't be too costly.

- DP
- CP + BOV
- FMIC
- DCI
- inlet outlet

I'm open to all answers/opinions I really just don't know which route I should take as it's a hard and impactful decision.

Only you can answer that. All depends on your budget, budget for maintenance, diy or shop, how you feel about an E90 vs F30, your power goals, your commute. This is stuff that only you can answer.

Keep and drive! Low mileage car, so you can know exactly what has been done to it over the years. Newer car doesn't offer you anything!

diy, no commuting, enough power to beat a dp tune b58

Performance for money wise I think the n54 will be the better pick for the next 100k miles.
