I have a 2012 335I with the n55 engine and am FBO with mhd stage 2+ tune. When I try and punch it in lower gears and when I am changing gears while giving it some good gas it slips and slips hard. With that being said I am a little confused on where to go i have heard the 335is clutch is a good oem replacement but I am not sure it will fit. Any recommendations.

Haven’t looked at this topic in a while but the 335is / 540i (i believe) is the common oem+ upgrade for these cars. There should be old threads on it here on e90post. I believe it’s the same clutch. ECS or FCP should also have some info on it in the description.

Why do you believe it won’t fit?

Your other option would be aftermarket. Probably unnecessary unless you’re planning to upgrade the turbo at some point.
