ISTA is not recognizing the VIN.

I got ISTA from BimmerPost, but the VIN is not being recognized for either my E85 or E93.
Even when I manually input the VIN, the control unit tree does not appear.
However, with my R59, everything works fine — the VIN is recognized, and I can perform diagnostics and service resets without any issues.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this problem?

I wonder why… I didn’t do anything, but now the E85 is being recognized.

However, the E93 still won’t read the VIN, and the control unit tree doesn’t show up either...

How foolish I was!
I reversed pins 7 and 8 on the unit and it read perfectly without any issues!
It's hilarious that I spent an entire day on something like this!

Sorry!
My previous translation was wrong.
According to the ISTA manual, I believe it says to short pins 7 and 8, but for the E93, it seems like the behavior is reversed compared to other cars regarding whether those pins should be shorted or not.

I just confirmed that it also connects successfully with the E91!
