BMW E90 Pre-lci halogen swap for LCI. Angel Eyes Upgrade?

So I have make up my mind and decided to swap my halogens from my pre lci to LCI halogens with angel eyes. Any opinions or recommendations on which angel eyes to get? I was looking at LUX H8, but I'm not sure if they make them for halogen headlights. Once again BMW 325i 2006 PRE-LCI with LCI halogen swap which angel eyes should I get or would fit? Thanks in advance

You need to get LCI Halogen lights from Lux. I had alot of difficulty finding compatible bulbs and ended up getting pretty pissed off I needed to spend more bills after paying 500 for headlights. BUT they are freaking amazing. No issues whatsoever I think they even work better than the ones for the xenon.

My car is featured on their site but this is a seriously old pic but it'll help you understand how bright they are

I have a question, I just got my lci halogens in the mail and noticed they are the valeo brand, and the site said they wont work on valeo...is this true?

lol now I look, and I don't seem to see that anymore...maybe it was another site

Thanks for the response, actually I was thinking of those the thing is that in the website it says xenon only i have a pre lci wanting lci headlight

I think it says it will work with valeo only! And not for zkw which is the European bmw oem headlights producer

If you are on a budget you may want to consider our e90 lci angel eyes. They are currently one of the brightest solutions and at a excellent price point.

You should consider spending a little extra for lci xenons. You could always get new angel eyes later.

I wouldn't consider that an option since to switch from halogen to xenon you would have to re wire the setup and I don't want to screw with that.

Sure but it's not that difficult, especially if they are nonadaptive.

Direct fit plug and play. Actually I dont recall any pictures sent in for the LCI yet. They are fairly new to market. If I get some I'll be sure to post it.

We have plenty for the PRE LCI E90 which would be very similar as they are the same unit more or less with a slightly different design for fitment purposes.

Ok thinking of going the same route installing projectors, later though right now I'm just trying to get some angel eyes without and ugly Amber line, like the pre lci has. However, I am glad to hear a lot of members have successfully done this conversion. I heard a lot of people debating whether it was possible or not lol thanks guys I think I would go for LUX H8 as soon as I buy the other headlight. Wish me luck in finding a good deal lol

I just installed lci xenons and it was definitely worth the cost. Might as well do it right the first time instead of upgrading to lci halogens and then lci xenons.

That's correct. But he asked for the output and the output would be similar. Note the only difference between the PRE LCI and the LCI upgrades is simply the mounting points. The LED's and their output is the same.

If you decide to go with the LCI Halogen lights then here are a few pictures of our LUX E90 LCI Halogen lights. These are all pictures from our customers.

I still think its not worth getting halogens. It's gonna be about $700-800 to get lci halogens and angel eyes. It would be about $1000-1200 to get lci xenons.

falling off subject! lol
I've seen in your mods "bmw325i" you currently have remote start with viper
how is that working out for you? I was trying to go that route a couple months ago, but back down due to a lot of people against it.
have you had any problems? thanks
