Alarm System 328i

i just recently leased a 328i coupe and i noticed that my alarm has never gone off i have the alarm thing on the rear view mirror but it dosent go off and on my moms 5 series all i have to do is hold down the trunk does it not come with it or is it an extra thing? thank you for the help

the 328i doesn't come with a alarm unless you purchased it together with your car. It has that alarm thing on the rear view mirror because it is prewired for the alarm. The way you can tell if you have an alarm, is if you lock the doors, the red thing under the rear view mirror should be blinking.
