E90 328i injen short ram intake?

Hey guys I bought an injen ram intake, im yet to install it but has anybody had any problems with it? I've read multiple things on it like car idling rough and driving like shit etc. do I have to buy something else?
Is this mod any good?

I have one and I like it....Some people have had problems with the MAF not sealing properly I believe but mine is running good at the moment.

Had mine for almost 3years and it was good and no problem. I went back to stock because the filter is worn out due to multiple cleaning and reoiling.

Have one on my 328i 09 sounds great looks nice and I have rarely ran into the rough idle

The new SP version comes with Amsoil/Donaldson filter ... best filters ever ...
No need to oil this filter ...

Doesn't the injen heat up on hot days and lose power? It is an open intake after all.

Mines fine all the time.

Wrapped it in thermal tape too. No heat soak at all. Also have cyba scoops and its great. No complaints.
