e90 with iphone question!

I bought on iphone and tring to connect this to the car through the usb jack which comes with the product

but it doesn't work with my e90 335i

Do i need seperate jack for connection to my car?

I do have ipod option from bmw factory

give me help!

You do need to use the cable that came with 6FL and plug in through the accessory jack. I don't have an IPOD (I use an USB flash drive) put others here could give you more info.

iPhone 3G might not charge through your car, but it will play.

just buy a auxillary jack 3.5mm and the right car charger for the iphone. not the ipod ones.i work for cell company and i have one. mine works fiine

I have the iphone and the ipod/USB adaptor.....it won't work properly if you try to use the usb cable that came with the iphone. You have to use the Y connector that should have come with your car. It has the end that connects to the iphone.....then the Y connector.....one end goes to the aux input jack and the other plugs into the usb port in the car. You will be able to access all your music through your car radio and the iphone will charge, as well. I got the ipod/USB adaptor and my car came with the connector. If you didn't get one, you can probably order one from your dealership...I'm sure it can't be that much.
