It is a closed loop system what do you expect, I have heard of a few people locally getting denied warranty work because of a BOV..............

Also you screwed yourself by being messy with your modifications and leaving mods on your car when you had SERIOUS issues checked by BMW.

I am very sorry to hear this though!!

If you do anything def upgrade your clutch because the OEM clutch will probably be the same amount of money, lol..............damn stealership!!!

I guess its time for a Turbo Kit for you my man!!

You can always make a big STINK like some other members have when BMW tried to take away his warranty and he brought his car back to stock and eventually got his warranty reinstated, you can search in the FI section and find the thread........

Maybe PM him and see how he went about it and get a first hand view!!!

Put it back to stock and go to another dealership. Worse case scenario, you grease the SA at the new dealership.

He has a steptronic transmission (6AT)... no clutch.

I spoke to a BMW mechanic at a local autocross event... he said he had seen a few 335i's with failed 6AT steptronics... and in almost every case, the warranty was apparently denied after PUMA got involved... a bit scary....

I have a slight hesitation in 1st gear in D mode. I avoid using D mode for this reason--sad to say. I'll be taking it in to get checked out, but I'm afraid I'll get the run around from the dealer on this.

Shouldn't the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act protect your warranty, I dont think a BOV or AA chip void warranty for a transmission issue. They arent related, now if you had a engine or turbo issue that would be a differant story.

They can say that it was the extra power produced by the mods that caused more stress on the tranny

Send it off to Level 10 they will beef it up for you, they are pricey though

I had my buddy check and I'm clean.
If you're clean then take that crap off and take it into another dealer.

Absolutely it has something to do with it. All that extra torque/hp has to go through the Transmission to get to the wheels
