Goo Gone or Goof-off works well too....just make sure you re-wax the trunk lid after you use it.

Soak it with goo gone, and it should peel of quite easily after.

I think goof off is too harsh for the clear.
I would use the citrus based goo gone and polish/wax area after.

either should work great, after that spray down surface with ISO for installation of another spoiler/bootlid , just to remove any left over mess like old wax, sealant etc..

car polish works too and it makes your paint shine in the process.

Gas and lighter fluid works great, but it also takes the wax off and will dull the surface if you don't treat it right away afterwards (waxing & buffing the area).

Use either Goop-Off / Goo-Gone, or if your really can't find anything, WD-40 also works. Just spray any of those on, let it sit for a minute and then just start peeling the tape off. Even after using any of those products, I'd still clean the surface and then wax & buff it with some polish.

works great and doesn't dull paint from my experience.
