Button and knobs have worked for years and years. Why take something so simple and practical and burry everything into a touch screen. Just my personal feeling.

I can see the need if you were an Uber driver. Otherwise, I don't get how BMW does penny pinching in the interior and includes something no one cares about. I hate how the center dash speaker cover is black plastic and you can see that only 30% of the holes are knocked out.
