Yet another e93 origami roof problem

Hi all,
Have yet another roof issue. long story short: top was down and I went to put it up..............the top came out of the trunk and as the panels started to unfold it stopped. Red light flashing at the toggle switch. Luckily I was able to get access to the trunk to loosen the Allen bolt to relieve hydrolic pressure. Was able to manually unfold the panels and aloud them to rest at the olmost closed position. Tightened the Allen bolt up and attempted to close the top again. Luckily from that position the top dropped down and locked into place. Drinking in rain with top down averted. Next day went drop he too so that I could work on figuring out wtf........ the matches unlock and the panels start to fold but stop about 25% of there movement. Red light again blinking at the toggle switch.

Pulled the code and got A68E hallsensor ASW4.1. I fortified it was one of the micro switches or the hall sensors. Problem is that I have googled that code and the hall sensor and I get squat.
Has anyone ever have this issue/code, or maybe has some insight on which sensor it is. I believe there are 9 sensors and 5 micro switches. Don't really want to buy and replace the all blindly. That would be my last resort.
Any help is appreciated.

sorry, wish I could help but I've only had our car for 2 weeks and no issues...yet...best of luck though! I'd honestly check with a dealer, which I know you are loathe to do, as are we all, or maybe in indy BMW mechanic locally.

Thanks man. Yeah dealer is last last option. Love the car and have had minimal problems. All of the problems I have had with her I have been able to fix up. She has over 210,000 miles on the clock........so she has served me well and I expect her to act up once in a while.

Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have enjoyed mine.
