N52N N52K SWAP - Wiring Harness?
Hi guys!
Sadly, my 220.000 mile EU N52B25 MSV70 Unit blew up a couple of weeks ago. I got my hands on a Black Top MSV80 N52B30 out of a 2008 E92 330. I have the wiring harnesses for both engines, but want to stay with my MSV70 ECU. Is there a way to use the MSV80 wiring harness on my MSV70 ECU, or can I use the MSV70 harness on the MSV80 engine with my old throttle body and MAF? Thankful for any tips  |

there is DIY here of the migration from MSV70 to MSV80 to adapt 6HP21 gearbox
so this is possible but you have to stick with manual gearbox

quick update; spoke with raimund n52 yesterday, he did the same swap on his 06 330i.
it is possible to use the n52k with the msv70 harness if the old ccv system is reused, along with magnesium valve cover. |
