Hi guys,

Looking for a little help trouble shooting an issue with the car. Just got an alignment after lowering the car on kw v1's. Apparently the rear drivers side wheel won't align. It has a toe of -81 and a bad camber or -3 degrees. The rest of the car aligned perfect.

Any idea of which of the multiple pieces is bent???

TIA, Kevin

Can you post your alignment numbers for the whole car?

Check the rear wishbones and guide rods. They are steel and designed to bend. Perhaps they got bent beyond the point of return somehow. I take it the shop adjusted the inner bolt on the lower camber link as far as it'd go and it was still three degrees negative camber?

For the toe - check the toe arm for that side. I can tell you these cars have excessive toe when lowered (another reason I'm asking about all the numbers) and it is NOT correctable with the stock toe arms. They only have the adjustment range for stock ride height.

First: What's your ride height? That would be distance from top of wheel arch (body) to bottom of the rim. Then, are you running 18" wheels or what?

Update: went to another shop, successfully aligned the car. Word of the wise do not use town fair tire in east Hartford CT. Recommend Tony's imported auto service in Manchester. There on the Indy shop list, pretty top notch.
