Clear Bra on Black + Zaino AIO & CS w/pictures

I see from time to time many questions on how clear bra looks on different colors, how noticeable it is, what is the cost and is it hard to install.

I bought a bulk 3M film and installed it myself. The cost was under $150 for 18” and would be much less for standard 12” coverage. Also I covered a much bigger area than a standard kit would cover including gas cover, extended fenders cover and etc. Is it hard? Well, it is not but it takes time and patience. Fenders and hood are really easy to do. Mirrors are slightly harder and bumper is much harder. If you are planning to do it like me using bulk film my advice is to plan your install in such a way that you utilize car natural edges as much as possible. Anyway this is not a DIY section so I am not going to spend much time on "how to" and move back to what you see on pictures above. The car is 335Xi SB/Black. The clear bra was installed about a month ago and by today car and clear bra received Zaino AIO and 2 x Zaino CS. I used NXT before and I found Zaino is much easer to apply and generally with better results with one disclaimer: I think NXT was better for clear bra, NXT made clear bra more mirror like and much closer to the way the rest of the car looked. My previous car was Titanium 325XiT and I did clear bra install on it as well. I do agree that it was less noticeable on silver color but not by much. Under specific angle/light I could see the hood line on silver as much as I do on black. The line does not bother me and I don't think it stand out all that much and almost invisible unless you search for it. Well, judge for yourself. I hope this helps to answer some of your questions.

Note: You might have to zoom really close to see the line. Also, I took pictures from different angles trying to find the angle were line is more visible.

Yep. Today I just gave her a quick bath and missed the wells. I've noticed the same thing only AFTER I took pictures.

Sure. Anything specific you'd like to know? I suggest to start with instructions and video on www.Xpel.com.

thank you for posting clear bra pics on a black car!

looks like you did a good job installing it. i think you would have to have your face practically on the hood to be able to see that line!

Yes in a few places and no, I tried to avoid it whenever I could. I put a short DIY together here http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62059 you might want to check it out.
