Can the window trim for e92 come off?

Want to replace them, but I don't see any DIY to take the chrome off for the e92, just e90. I heard it's easy...?

User Bavarian19 sent me this in a PM a year or so back, when I swapped to shadowline.

"Each trim piece is a little different. The upper window trim is the easiest. Start at the front end and using a flathead screwdriver, you can apply pressure popping the trim off of the car working towards the back. There are clips holding the trim in place.

The lower window trim is more challenging. You can still apply the same procedure, but you must start at the front end and carefully remove the trim and the rubber channel. The trim will bend if not done slowly. The side mirrors MUST come off to get the pieces off. So the door panels must come off, and there are DIY's as to how to do this. "

Top piece pops out, drive side pops out, rear window piece slides forward. If i remember correctly. I could be wrong about the door piece though. But besides that, they are very easy to break, so make sure if you do decide to remove it that you're very careful as they can snap in pieces or deform really easily.
