Walnut Blasting - GVRD

Hi All,

Anyone around the GVRD area that knows of any independant/dealership that does Intake Valves cleaning via walnut blasting? I know all BMW stealership does it but costs a fortune.

The closest deal i know of is driving all the way to Bellvue WA (besides Seattle) and BMW of Bellvue will do it for $389 + Tax (This is not a promotion, they regularly charge this for the service). It will be nice to have a shop close by who does this at a reasonable price. Thanks!!

I was quoted $680 by AutoWest. None of the independent BMW garages seem to have the necessary equipment.

Thanks for the tip on Bellevue. Save $300 bucks by driving to Seattle?

Appointment needed for sure if you want courtesy loaner car. They don't have a lot of them like BJBMW or AutoWest, so book early. Ya... i think i'll drive down there and get it done. The Walnut blasting kit and blasting media isnt that expensive, i just dont wanta rip apart the engine myself and DIY... Thanks!
