Early August order and late October delivery? Wow, that would be almost 4 months to delivery. I just placed and order for a 2019 440i GC today and if I have to wait that long I will be extremely disappointed. :/

If I would be just ordering mine I would rather go with something from stock. |

I guess I am just lucky. I placed my order with my dealer on Monday, and yesterday (Wednesday) they found an allocation and updated it with my order details. The order showed a confirmed production week of 34, which is August 20-26.
I checked my order status today (Thursday) fully expecting to see the "Order received" status again (since it had only been one day), but it had already changed to a "Production begins" status. I then confirmed with my CA that it was indeed at 150 status. I assume production takes 7-10 days for completion? Giving 30 days after that to make it through the port and shipping process, I hopefully will take delivery by the end of August instead of mid-October like I was expecting. |

if you have an order number, it should be assigned to a build week. If you dont have an order number, then you have not actually ordered a car as of yet. What I mean is, if you dont have an order number from your dealer, you may have talked to them about an order, you may think you have a car on order, but if they dont have an order number for you they have not placed an order as of yet. Thats usually because they dont have an allocation etc, but it basically means, no order number means all the waiting you have done so far doesnt count because they havent ordered it. |

Don't want to upset you but I had to wait 3 months and 3 weeks before my factory build 420i arrived. But it was worth the wait.
