NEED HELP FINDING PART- shift boot plastic piece

Hey guys,
OK the part I am looking for has to do with the leather boot on a manual transmission. I am trying to find and buy the plastic piece that snaps into the center console. Its the piece that is attached to the boot and keeps it in place. I saw someone at the dealership bring it up when i was ordering my bmw performance shift knob but i want to see if anyone here knew what i was talking about..

i have a manual alcantara shift boot installed, it didnt have any plastic peice....the boot itself had the clips attached already

Yea its that clip that I need to buy! Its already attached but i know you can buy it separately. thats the part i Need

Looked thru RealOEM - neither of those rings are available separately from BMW - they are both sold only as part of the respective boot that they go with

Whether or not you saw someone with it in their hand doesn't mean it's available separately - could be it was from a damaged boot

If LeatherZ sells them separately I suggest you buy them from there...
