Talking 07 E90 335i CPO Delivery Tomorrow :)

Hey Fellow E90 posters,

Not new to E90post but I will be taking delivery of a CPO 07’ 335i tomorrow! So excited and can’t wait!! I’m currently driving an 08’ E90 323i so stepping up to the 335i is a big step up for me. My lease on the 08 323i is up at the end of the month so I’ve been looking at many 335i over the past 2 weeks and decide to pull the trigger on an 07’ E90 335i with the following:

07 E90 335i:
-Black Sapphire
-Terra Dakota Leather
-Burl Walnut Wood Trim (not a big fan)
-Premium Package
-Logic7
-Navigation

Although I would have liked a 335i with sport package, there was not many in Jet Black or Black Sapphire. I was really picky on the colour, it had to be black or no deal. I did find one but not with all the features as this one. Plus I couldn’t justify paying 4 grand more just for sport package that still has wood trim and no navigation or logic7. If the price was the same, I would have pulled the trigger on that but no go.

Initially, I did want to keep my 323i after the lease and trade it in next year for the new body style 3series but the financing rates were extremely high. Also I didn’t want to lease a new E90 knowing that the new 3series is not too far away so this was the best options and payments are almost the same as my current e90. So win-win situation!

I got to say, I’m looking forward to the Logic7 cause the stock system on the 323i sucks ass! At full volume I can still talk over it!

So, I know it’s a long post….but just can’t wait for tomorrow morning!!! Oh and I test drove it last week and…..OMG!! Its night and day compared to the 323i. After driving it, it feels weird to drive the 323i..so underpowered.

Well, 335i coming soon!

Well, it depends (re-sport pckg). I pretty much got the same car you did a few summers ago. I knew I was going to mod the crap out of it anyway...new bumper/skirts/wheels/tires and now steering wheel on order so why pay for a package you are going to swap out anyway. Either way, sounds like you are getting a great car. Wait til you tune the ecu....

Definetely getting a great car! I plan on putting on my M6 Reps that were on my current e90 plus blacklines and performance grill. Have an appointment to get it tinted on Monday. Gonna look good! The only thing that bothers me is the wood trim...I rather have the aluminum.

Congrats! Understand that the 335 is a completely different beast but a lot of fun to drive.

this is easily fixed. I am waiting for my steering wheel before making a decision on trim.

Congrats. I have basically a same car. its a great color. sports package is great and I have it, but non-sports pkg can handle pot holes better. may be a better commuter car. enjoy!

Congrats.

A little off-topic question here:
How do you take delivery of a used car the next day? I mean, it's already there on the lot and isn't coming in from a 18-wheeler like a new car so.... huh?

maybe it was late in the day/dealer prep/squaring away financing?

That's a terrific salesman's trick. I was getting my oil changed in my Nissan (when it was under warranty), so I sat in a 350Z. The salesman said why do you want to drive home in that old car (it was just under 4). We can get you out of here in that Z in about an hour. I'm already running the numbers on your trade, I got the VIN from our svc. dept.

In a nice way I told him to go f*** himself.

btw 18 wheelers (the tractors) are made in Mexico, they don't take that long to be delivered.

I would say the opposite. How do you look at a car, and not think about it for at least over the weekend? Impulse costs $$$. Think about that next time you decide to marry the first beautiful woman you date. You need to compare, as with everything else in life.

Congrats on the car. I doubt you will miss the sport package going from the 323 to the 335. It's a huge upgrade. I like the logic 7 and wish I'd looked harder for nav.
