This is true however read this from Cobb,

"Thanks for the message. When you reflash the car or install the AccessPORT, the ECU is reset. What people may be referring to is ECU learning AFTER you install the AccessPORT. You should not need to do this like you would with a piggyback etc. Since the calibration is writting into the ECU there is no way for the ECU to learn around the calibration. Does that answer your question? Please let me know if you have futher queries!"

Sound like to me adaptation is not required or even possible?

So far I prefer the 2.00 map.
So far I've tested the regular beta 2.02 map. I am yet to test the V1 and the V2 maps. This map has horrible throttle control. I am getting multiple throttle closures, sometimes 3-4 closures at part throttle. It feels very jerky. It is also extremely non-linear. I press the gas pedal at 10% (basically barely touching it) and the car goes full steam. I wanted to drive it a bit and see if the ECU will adapt a bit, but it is no good.

I'll be switching to 2.02 V1 tonight and see what's the deal.

Thanks for the update.

I did not try V1 since V2 is suppose to be more aggressive. Which I found it to be very very passive. The first 80% throttle felt like a stock car, meaning stock power. Then the last -15-20% throttle power came on gradually.

Well, Rob told me that V2 was actually intended for 6MT cars.

That is correct. He told me the same thing as well in addition to it being more aggressive.

Any update on new maps?
Is 2.02 V1 and V2, or are V1 and V2 different tunes again?
I have an Automatic. Difference between V1 and V2 is?

You confused me when you said you tried 2.02 and at 10% throttle it was full power, were you actually referring to 2.01??

I dont have lots of time to research this week... However I want to upload my COBB by Saturday as soon as I receive the unit and get a chance.

Which Beta map should I look at running for my 2007

2.01? Or the new V1 or V2

Also, at WOT will V2 put down the same torque and HP as 2.01??

When I push the accelerator 40% down, I don't want 100% power. That is what the surge is doing. If you don't feel that then you can't tell the difference between 40% throttle application and 100% application OR your car does not have the surge.

Don't assume, those of us who are having this issue don't know how to drive.
Lets hope there are new maps which address these issues. I like the more linear stock like feel.
