led lights coded but still showing bulb error

as above, fitted led rears to my e92 had them coded and they work perfectly but the bulb error for the brake lights is still showing any ideas?

Jeff, did you use a harness or did someone wire them in?

The coding only involves disabling the bulbcheck,this removes the warnings from the dashboard.

Hi Ian i bought the proper harness from bmw, ive booked it in at ardens on monday so hopefully they will fix it! must say i wasnt all that keen on the leds when they first came out but after seeing your car at brands i was quite impressed now ive got them fitted im well pleased with them despite the cost!

You could always pop a resistor across them to shut them up

had thought of that but they get incredibly hot, will see what the dealer comes up with monday

got car back from ardens in maidstone all reprogrammed and everything working 100% cost a bit more but worth it! lights are superb
