Tire Question

I have a set of 19x8.5s (non-staggered) CSLs that I want to run on another E90 I will be getting....

I want to use General Exclaim UHP tires, and unfortunatly they don't make a 255/30/19 tire...

with that said could I run 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear on 8.5s all around to give the vehicle a staggered tire setup?

I beleive the answer is yes, I've heard of people stretching 265s on 8.5" rims. I would double check with Gary from Tire Rack.

General tire states a minimum rim width on the 265/30R19 to be 9", sorry.

Best to stick with 235/35R19 all around for the 8.5" wheel.

Great Tirerack website. Lots of info. Several sets of 19" tires are less than 18" tires. I wonder why? I'm running stock 17" and was looking at 18" wheel and tire combo, but now looking more to the 19" simply due to long term economics. I bought my last set for my E36 at Tirerack and like the whole package. Do you still offer free install at a local (partner) tire shop? (I think it was Big Brands Tire or something like that last time)

265 is too wide for 8.5" rim width....
