N55 Remap Questions
Hey guys
First time poster so just a quick intro, im Dele, im 23 from Stevenage in Hertfordshire and im picking up my E93 335i M-Sport at the end of Sept Now, my question(s).... Ive heard nothing but good things about remapping the N54/N55 engine but im slightly concerned that it could cause some issues? Someone mentioned fuel pump failures, has that been sorted or is it still an issue? Also when is it considered a good time to remap, as the E93 will be new im obviously expecting to wait until after its run in, or should i wait a little longer? Thanks in advance all, |

Congratulations on your new 335i.
Re-mapping it will not cause any issues, these engines will easily take 350bhp plus!! Best to run it in first though. Maybe put a couple of thousand miles on it, to free it up nicely Not sure what car you have come from, but the 335i is very rapid. Even standard tune is 306bhp. Rear wheel drive with the traction control turned right off, there aint much out there that will keep up!! As for fuel pump issues. There have been reported failures, but mostly in the US because of their high ethanol content in petrol. You have No worries because this will be covered by your new car warranty for the first three, years. If you keep it longer you can extend the waranty with BMW

Welcome and congrats...
We have a N55 Stg1 tune giving an extra 50hp at the wheels. Our Combo deal also comes with the CT Tool for code reading and deleting, gauge hijacking for showing boost on the fuel dial IAT on oil dial. In. Dash shifting lights. With the JB tune you simply simply remove tune and clear codes befor taking to the dealers. 30 mins to install or remove and doesn't rewrite the ECU.
