Just got my AA Xede Installed...

I got my Xede installed earlier today. I am very happy with the product overall. AA did the install for me. I did not do any dynos yet. The car pulls much harder than stock and now it actually pushes u back into your seat when u really get on it. Now the second gear feels like the stock 1st gear. Omar and Jean explained everything to me about the product and answered all of my questions. On the way back home after the install I was on the highway with a stock 335i coupe and we both punched it from about 80 to around 120-130 and I pulled around 4 or 5 CLs. Later on tonight, I came across a stock C6 Corvette 6-speed manual and we both punched it from around 20-75 and there were no gained or lost CLs here. After that run I was very impressed that I kept with the 400hp light car like the vette. The only thing that I have noticed about the product is that when I get on the gas pretty hard and get to around 4k rpm, it will kill out for like a milisecond and then regain full power hard, but this may be due to the ECU not fully adapted yet. This does not happen all of the time. I am going to pick up one of those Beltronics timer things to see what 0-60 and 1/4 mile times I can get with the Xede. Any questions are welcome. Mike.

Now go get a ProCede and sell the Xede, LOL, j/k =)
But read Shiv's V2 Beta post and if you have the newer ProCede, you might just be pulling 1 CL infront of the C6...haha!!

I was just out with my friends stock 330i and we made some hard runs 0-155 and all I can say is that I made it there very quickly. The second run I started like 10 CLs behind him and the he punched first got to 130 when I was at around 120 and when he got up to 145 I flew by him doing 155. This thing is a whole new animal now. PS these runs were done on I-27 which is meant for these speeds . Mike.

Question, Now that I have the Xede with my windows up or down I can hear the turbos much more now and the stock BOV system is actually making some sort of pshhhhtttt sound when I give hard throttle. Its something that I really like but im not sure if this is normal. All help is welcome. Thanks Mike.

Yes thats normal, it happens because of the additional boost the car is running with the Xede.
