A brand new one will cost you about $500 on Tisher. You can find some used ones in decent condition for about $200 - $300 ebay. If you can get one that matches your car's colour, you're all set.

I'm looking one locally for around $250. Hopefully, I can find one soon.

I'm already done my LCI back conversion and I'm going to be working on the front soon.
Unlike your lucky self, we dont live in the UK, where there are more M Sport E90s around than honda civics.

I'm in Toronto. Also, there are quite a few E90s on the road here but not many Mtech ones. I've personally only seen like three.

I saw a few used LCI bumpers on kijiji but they have some damage on them. I hope I can find something soon.

Do a lot of people really drive Civics in the US? I thought there'd be more luxury cars since cars in general are so much cheaper down there.

Sorry, iPhone = no location.

I assumed you were in the UK since the UK has had M Sport E90s filling its streets for years. Just search for an E90 bumper on ebay.co.uk and you'll see what I mean. On ebay.com it's a very very rare sight, unfortunately.

Civics aren't that common to see new anymore. Hyundai has been working its magic here.

Anyway, if you have any questions regarding the retrofit, feel free to PM. I've done the lowly non-M Sport on my pre-LCI. Good luck with the search!

I got my Msport shipped from England for $350. No structural damage except a small tear under the bumper. But it's very small. Just needs bumper holes filled and a respray.

I don't need to delete the reflectors either.

And to my surprise it arrived in just 3 days with only 2 layers of bubble wrap on a Fedex truck with NO damage!

Good deal.

I've seen entire kits with OEM paint in good shape for about $1k. If you trust the shipping not to mess them up, that seems like the way to do it.

How was it shipped? Just fedex international? Through a fedex acct.?

********* : I'm a bit late reading this and havn't trawled the posts, but have a read of my thread on how I did my LCi conversion as I started by keeping the pre-LCi grills & bonnet to begin with, so that should give you a few ideas of a DIY.

You guys doing the LCI conversion should update the headlights too. I think that makes the most difference.

I guess yea, FedEx Intl. It was legit a piece of cardboard on the front and wrapped in 2 layers of bubble wrap. The edges were wrapped alot more but still....I was expecting a box.

I'm just glad it arrived undamaged.

Since you're in the UK there's not a big difference.

For North America, the biggest difference is that LCI gets rid of the ugly orange corner.

Thanks. I think I'm going to trim the LCI grills though. I'm scheduled to pick up the bumper on Monday or Tuesday.

I personally don't like the LCI headlights on the E90. I'm making custom angel eyes anyway. I just started the driver's side rings. I glued about 150 SMD LEDs on the 2 rings today. I'm going to do the other side tonight and pick up a better soldering iron tomorrow. The one I have now is pretty crappy.

The I gotta program the logic board I'm using to auto dim the LEDs via a photo transistor (to detect ambient light). I have most of the code written already but I need to actually get the board lol and read th values from the sensor and map them to my LED drivers. It's in the mail...

Please explain? new yea on the forum bc i have a job and you are who? thread monitor? is he doing lci conversion m sport conversion? i doubt you have enough mods to keep your car next to mine so yea no need to bash with your non msport conversion.

I dont understand why your asking if i read the thread, did you? He's asking others who have actual done this conversion with MSPORT LCI ? There you are going on with a non msport mod. i think you need to read first. Only other reason i pointed out that video is the fact its a euro lci bumper which is the same one he ordered and one of the few who knows this conversion and did it before you did. Therefore, yes i read the thread and next you should too. Msport vs Non. You have plenty to learn about european cars.

And yes Euro bumpers are easy to ship over here.

Sorry, I really didn't mean to start any bashing. Just your posts did not add anything to the discussion, simply restated that which was already in the thread. That is all. Lets keep the thread productive, again, no need to raise hell.

I went non-M Sport because of a VERY good deal on a front cover in my color. I would have bought it if it was pre-LCI, mine was in rough shape and I wanted a fresh one without spending much money.

This is very impressive work from the sound of it.

I did actually go with LCI headlights, they were cheaper than I initially thought (and I had Euro pre-LCI housings to sell so net cost was about $200). The main problem is that ALL (or nearly) of the housings on eBay are from cars which have been in accidents, and, as a result, usually broken in some way. These cars are under warranty so if a housing is for sale, the way I see it, it's off a totaled car or has been removed by someone at BMW and instead of shipped back to NJ as dealers are required to do, simply thrown on eBay for an extra buck.

I bought 2 housings, left and right, and both arrived damaged, so I sent them back for a full refund. Bought 2 more, left and right, and they were still damaged, so I dissassembled them as much as I could (without removing the lens from the housing) and realized how they worked and was able to fix both to perfect working order. Most common problems are loose projector shrouds (fixable) and unsecured angel eye mirror (not fixable). Going on later today.

Yes I'm very excited to complete this project. Though with my eng. vibrations summer course, work, and a bunch of other small, time consuming projects, it will be another week or 2 before I can complete them.

The logic for the board is the most interesting part. The brighter it is outside, the brighter the LEDs get. The darker it is, the less amount of output. There are also other variables. Such as delays for when going under overpasses or when clouds block the sun.....I don't want the LEDs to be constantly (more so instantly) changing output. Right now, I have a 5 second delay programmed in. This should be enough time so when I drive under overpasses, they don't dim. But after the 5 second period, they will dim so they won't be too bright and distracting to other drivers, mainly oncoming traffic.

I'm also working on an oil temp sensor with an oled display somewhere in the car. I hate the MPG gauge. And now that I have coded in the instant MPG digital display, there is no need for the analog gauge..... Also would like to integrate a V1 into that oled display.

All very simple addition. Just need to spend time experimenting with the code. There are numerous ways to write these codes, depending on what you want to do/how you want the system to react.

The best part is, is that all of these features can be programmed onto one board.

Yea, here you go:

I've been meaning to take the grills off and put them on a belt sander but I haven't had time. They're vinyled gloss black so it takes a good 20 minutes to wrap.

good work man looks as good as it can be... i personally just cant stand how the grills dont line up perfectly and that gap would annoy me. looks like ill need to save up a little longer for a full conversion!
