Persistent Water Sports

On the hood and rear bumper. Just did a full detail a month ago so wondering if there's any quick and painless way to get rid of them.

I assume a typical wash and thorough cleaning will not remove the marks. The Chemical Guys Water Spot Remover is the only product I know of that can help remove very light etchings. I use this on light to medium etchings when I don't want to polish the whole vehicle. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask!

DG Water Spot Remover works well also. These only really work for light to moderate water etchings, if it's heavy (need pics) then polishing them out is the next step.

Is there any way to differentiate between light hard water spots and spots that are etched in the paint? I'm ready to purchase CG water spot remover, however, I'd rather save my money for a new PC if my paint is all ready etched....

do these water spot removers dissolve wax and sealants?

if so, wouldn't water and vinegar dilution be a cheaper (and more readily available) alternative?

That's a great question, I honestly have no idea. And yes, vinegar and water would be a cheaper alternative; anyone know the correct dilution ratio?
