Cm7 nozzle won't thread into bung

I just bought a cm7 nozzle and it's the newer short thread one. Well I just received it today and tried to install it into my meth bung. Well for some reason it doesn't fit and doesn't go all the way down like the DO7 nozzle. In fact the DO7 nozzle screws in quite easily. The CM7 screws in a thread or two and doesn't seem to go any further and in doing so would most likely strip the meth bung. What's the deal with these cm nozzle, do they require a special bung. I just wasted 36 bucks for this shit and I am not happy. Even my Snow performance nozzles fit nicely into the bungs but this damn CM7 nozzle doesn't. Why would Coolingmist make a nozzle with threading different than the other nozzles out there is beyond. They say it's better but how are people suppose to try it out if they have to change meth bungs to fit it in!! Dumb if you ask me

I have it up for sale if anyone is interested...paid 36 with 10 for shipping thats 46 bucks!!! Damn that shit is expensive but I cant use it with my system and I am not willing to change the meth bung or retap it for this as its too much of hassle so I am willing to let it go for 25 bucks shipped...I will even give a 90 degree elbow with it for free...The nozzle is BRAND NEW

AR elbow with the bungs..The DO nozzle goes all the way down and so does the Snow Performance nozzles but this CM nozzle have no clue why they made it this way, I can only thread 1 to 2 threads and then its hard and any further I know it would strip the meth bung....IMO it loses business for themselves because of incompatibility
Wasted 46 dollars for nothing

All my CM nozzles fit fine. I did find that my AR Elbow didn't have the cleanest threads in it when i received it so i cleaned out the threads with a tap.

The threads on the ar design elbows are tighter then most I have seen but I haven't heard of any incompatibilities with CM nozzles and ar elbows before.

Also the CM nozzles are standard 1/8th NPT thread. All NPT threads are tapered which means it will tighten. As far as I know the DO nozzle has only 2 or 3 threads so thats why it may go flat.

With any metal fitting that is screwing into metal you need to use teflon tape to seal. The "injector holder / 90 elbow" that is there is the same thread as the bung so maybe there is some debris in the elbow preventing the nozzle from sinking properly? Try some teflon tape as it may improve things.

Well my other nozzles go in with ease why not the CM one. It can't be the bung as two other major brand nozzles work perfectly

I gave up and threw back in the DO7 nozzle. It screwed in like a champ. I wanted to see what the CM nozzles were all about but not fitting into my meth bungs was a curve ball. Still don't understand why Coolingmist would not make the thread pattern universal like other well known brands. To me it just loses sales and profit
On a brighter note I also ordered their 90 degree elbow and their meth hose adapter which is top notch. They were so much better than the DO products which has plastic push fittings which I didn't like and the elbow doesn't compare to the coolingmist one
